Gwen Covington

Orlando, Florida native Gwen Covington is CEO of Entertainment Galore LLC.  Since 1980, the company provides music entertainment consulting services specializing in concert productions/special events planning, stage management, talent bookings, and commercial jingles/sound recordings. 

We have produced over 200 shows, served hundreds of clients (corporate/governmental/non-profit organizations), and arranged bookings for numerous talents including celebrities The O'Jays, Sly Stone, Blood Sweat Tears (David Clayton Thomas),  Carlos Oliva, Lakeside, The Manhattans, Pastor Shirley Caesar, Richard Smallwood, Dorothy Norwood, Najee, Inner Circle, Chi Lites, Shirley Murdock, After 7, Ozone, Donna Allen, CeCe Peniston, Harold Melvin & Bluenotes, Billy Paul, Dennis Edwards, Betty Wright, Omari Band, and more.  Special events support services to many prominent clients including NFL Super Bowl XXIX, BET TV, The Soccer Olympics, The Miami Heat, Hispanic Chamber of Commerce National Convention, Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau, Miami/Goombay Festival, FAMU Orange Blossom Classic, Miami Calle Ocho, Miami Sunstreet Festival, Gospel Goes Classical (featuring Denyce Graves/BeBe Winans), and The Town of Eatonville-based ZORA Neale Hurston Annual Festival. Appointed by Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings in February 2019, Gwen serves as a member of the Orange County Arts and Cultural Affairs Advisory Council and Chairperson of the Blockbuster Committee (2020).  She is a Recording Artist, Realtor, Contributing Writer (various print media), and Program Director for So You Want Your Name In Lights Music Youth Summer Camp (a non-profit community effort). 

She holds a B.S. degree in Accounting (Florida Memorial University) and M.B.A. (University of Miami). She has received many accolades including NAFEO's Exemplary Distinguished Honoree in Sight and Sound Leadership Award, along with Actor/Minister Clifton Davis, from the National Association For Equal Opportunity In Higher Education/Washington,D.C.).
